A few things about me...

Hello, and welcome! I am a mental health therapist who collaborates with adults to find ways to productively navigate within our complex and often overstimulating modern world. I graduated in 2005 with a Master's degree in Counseling from South Dakota State University, then found my way to work in community mental health in Wyoming and Washington. During that time, I took a break to focus on raising three young children.

Utilizing a lens of Feminist Theory, along with Narrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, we can begin to unravel shame, depression, and disempowerment. I will partner with you to find solutions to improve your relationship with yourself and others. Hopefully we will have some laughs together along the way.

I am open about the areas in which I have lived experience, including recovery from substance abuse, coming out later in life, parenting struggles, and postpartum depression. Although no journey is a mirror of another, these experiences allow for a unique blend of compassion and empathy as we work together.

The areas that I specialize in include Women's Issues, Divorce, Parenting Difficulties, Sexuality, Struggles within Relationship, CPTSD, Disentanglement from Religious Messaging, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

The ways in which I care for myself include eating delicious food, enjoying little critters (including slugs), spending time with my family, cheering for the Seattle Sounders, participating recreationally in CrossFit, and pottery.
